Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized - Beetroot
  • 2 - 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 handful - Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1 pinch - Asafoetida
  • 1/2 - Lemon
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp - Oil

How to Make Quick Beetroot chutney

  • Remove the skin and grate the beetroot.
  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds and asafoetida and let it splutter.
  • Coarsely grind the other ingredients and mix it with the mustard seeds mix and add grated beetroot.
  • Mix well and add lime juice.
  • Serve with chapatti, idli, dosa or different types of rice.
