Ingredients

  • 15 slices - white bread
  • 1 litre - Milk
  • 1 tbsp - Almonds
  • 1 tbsp - Plums
  • 5 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp - Pista
  • How to Make Quick Bread Kheer:

    1. Remove the crust and soak the bread slices in water for 15 minutes.
    2. Squeeze the slices to remove the excess water and mash into a pulp.
    3. Cut the plums into small pieces.
    4. Blanch the almonds and pistas and cut into bits.
    5. Dilute 1/2 litre of milk in 1/2 litre of water.
    6. Cook the bread mash and sugar in it for some time.
    7. Add the almonds, pistas, plums and cardamom powder.
    8. Add the other 1/2 litre of milk and bring the mixture to boil.
    9. Allow the kheer to cool.
