  • 10 - bread slices
  • 2 - Onion (medium)
  • 1 - big Tomato
  • 3 - big Potatoes
  • 15 - Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves, according to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - masala powder (garam masala/channa masala)
  • 5 - Green chillies
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Quick Bread Masala Toast:

    1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker. When cool, keep aside. Heat oil in a pan.
    2. Add the curry leaves. Stir.
    3. Now add the finely chopped onions and green chillies and saute well.
    4. When the onion becomes brown in colour, add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.
    5. Add the masala powder and saute well.
    6. Add the tomatoes and saute till the oil separates.
    7. Add the mashed potatoes into this and saute.
    8. Sprinkle some water to make the paste loose.
    9. Now add coriander leaves and put off the fire.
    10. Take the bread slices and toast it lightly in a toaster or a pan.
    11. Take the toasted slice.
    12. Spread the masala evenly on the bread slice.
    13. Cover with another slice and seal the sides.
