Ingredients

  • 2 cups - wheat flour
  • 3 - carrots, finely grated
  • 5 tsp - oil
  • 3 tsp - butter
  • 3 tsp - curds
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - besan
  • 2 - green chilli, finely chopped
  • coriander leaves
  • 2 - garlic, small
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp - masala powder
  • 1 - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - lemon juice extract

How to Make Quick Carrot Paratha

  • Heat 3 tsp oil in the frying pan.
  • Add finely grated carrot in the pan and fry till it becomes soft.
  • Keep the carrot aside and now heat 2 tsp of oil in the pan.
  • Add finely chopped coriander leaves, green chilli, garlic, jeera powder, masala powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and fry for a minute.
  • In a bowl, take 2 cups of wheat flour, 2 tsp besan with 3 tsp of curds and butter.
  • Now add carrot and masala to the bowl with salt to taste and lemon extract and knead to a dough by adding warm water if required.
  • Make small lemon-sized balls out of the dough and roll them out in to parathas.
  • Put the rolled parathas one by one on the pre-heated pan and roast them by applying oil/butter on both the sides.
