  • 1/2 kg - chicken, cut into 1.5 inch pieces
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 5 green chillies, slit
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp - fresh coriander leaves, chopped

How to Make Quick jeera chicken

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and saute till they begin turn slightly brown.
  • Add green chillies and onions and saute till golden brown.
  • Add chicken and stir.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes or till done.
  • Add lemon juice, coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix.
  • Serve hot with rotis.
