Ingredients

  • 1 packet - Lima beans (frozen)
  • 1 - onion (big)
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - shredded coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - fennel seeds
  • A few curry leaves
  • salt for taste

How to Make Quick Lima Beans Curry

  • In a pan, crackle mustard seeds and fennel seeds in hot oil.
  • Chop onions and fry it along with a few curry leaves.
  • When onion changes colour, add lima beans and chilli powder.
  • Cover and cook it with enough water and salt.
  • Add shredded coconut in the end.
  • This can be served as a dry side dish with rice and sambar or rotis.
