  • 1 cup channa dal
  • 1 tbsp rice
  • 1 big onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander, finely chopped
  • Curry Leaves, chopped (1 twig)
  • Green chillies, chopped

How to Make Quick Masala Vada

  • Soak channa dal and rice for 2-3 hours in water. Grind them coarsely.
  • Then add all other ingredients and mix well.
  • Make round balls and flatten them to form vadas.
  • Deep fry them till brown.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or sauce.
