Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - mooli
  • 2 tbsp - Coconut
  • 1 - Onion
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 6 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 10 - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin
  • a pinch - Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Quick Mooli Fry:

    1. Squeeze out moisture from mooli scrapings and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, fry, and when the seeds splutter add cumin, onion and green chillies.
    3. Fry till the onions turn pink, add crushed garlic then add mooli, turmeric and salt.
    4. Mix thoroughly and cook with the vessel covered for 3 mins.
    5. If necessary sprinkle some water, mix and keep frying for another min till it is dry.
    6. Sprinkle coriander leaves, serve.
