Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - rice
  • 1/2 kg - mutton
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 10 - pepper corns
  • 3 - tomatoes
  • 3 cups - water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup - ghee
  • 6 - cloves
  • 3 - sticks cinnamon

How to Make Quick Mutton Biriyani

  • Wash the rice and keep aside.
  • Cut and wash the mutton.
  • Grind cumin, onions and pepper corns into a paste.
  • Peel the tomatoes, remove seeds, and grind in a mixer.
  • In 3 cups of water, boil the mutton and add tomato pulp and salt to taste.
  • Add ground masala when the meat is almost cooked.
  • In another vessel, heat ghee and fry the rice till crisp.
  • Then add mutton and gravy.
  • When rice is almost cooked, add the cloves and cinnamon.
  • Transfer to the microwave oven, and cook till done.
