Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Beaten Rice
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 4 - cardamom, crushed
  • Cashew - a few
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • Saffron - a few strands
  • How to Make Quick n Easy Aval Kesari:

    1. Soak the poha for 10 mins, wash and drain.
    2. Soak saffron in 1/2 cup of milk and keep aside
    3. Add a tsp ghee in a kadai and fry the cashew.
    4. Add the poha to it and fry it for a minute.
    5. Add sugar, cardamom and saffron to it and keep stirring on low flame.
    6. Add the remaining ghee to it and serve.
