Ingredients

  • 450 g - fish
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - - turmeric powder
  • 3 flakes - garlic
  • 3 slices - ginger
  • 25 g - tamarind
  • 50 ml - warm water
  • 200 ml - water
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - paprika powder
  • 2 cm - cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 6-7 - curry leaves
  • Oil

How to Make Quick n Easy Fish Curry

  • Wash the fish and cut into 2-3 cm squares. Sprinkle with the salt and turmeric.
  • Heat oil in a pan and place the fish on it. Saute for a couple of minutes.
  • Crush the garlic and ginger together and keep aside.
  • Soak and squeeze the tamarind in the warm water.
  • Pour 375 ml water on the fish, add crushed garlic- ginger, tamarind water, chilli powder, paprika powder, cinnamon stick, black pepper and curry leaves.
  • Cover the pan and simmer over a low heat until the fish is cooked.
