How to Make Quick 'N' Easy Ghee Rice

  • Wash and soak the basmati rice for 15 minutes.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the cardamoms, cloves, peppercorns and chopped onions for few seconds. Immediately add the ginger garlic paste and stir until the raw smell goes away.
  • Now add the soaked rice, fry for few seconds and add the water. Transfer the rice to rice cooker.
  • Once the rice gets cooked, add the chopped mint leaves and serve with raita or any spicy side dish.
