  • 2 cups - Milk powder
  • 1 to 1.5 cups - Sugar (depending on taste)
  • 1/2 cup - thickened Cream
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Almond/ Pista slivers for decoration.
  • How to Make Quick n Easy Kalakand:

    1. Place milk powder, sugar and cardamom powder in a microwavable bowl and mix well.
    2. Add the cream and combine thoroughly.
    3. The mixture should be neither lumpy nor runny, but of a smooth, thick-batter consistency.
    4. Microwave on high for 4 mins (1000 watt microwave).
    5. Stir once, and microwave for a further 2 mins.
    6. Allow to rest for 5 mins and sprinkle the almond or pista slivers on top.
    7. Serve warm or cool.
