How to Make Quick n Easy Mysore pak

  • Dry roast the besan until it is warm and keep aside.
  • Grease a plate with ghee and keep aside.
  • Add 1 cup of water to the sugar and boil well until all the sugar dissolves.
  • Add 1/2 cup ghee to the sugar syrup and boil further for another 2-3 mins.
  • To this, add the roasted besan and stirring continuously until all the lumps disappear.
  • Add the remaining 1/2 cup of ghee and cardamom powder. Stir constantly for another 2-3 mins.
  • Continue the process until all the ghee is added.
  • Mysore pak is done when a honey comb shaped froth appears on the surface of the lump.
  • Transfer to the greased plate and roll to the thickness of 1 inch.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
