Ingredients

  • semolina - 1.5 cup
  • grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • green chilies, chopped - 2
  • ginger, chopped - 1 tsp
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • oil - 2 tbsp
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • curry leaves, chopped - a few
  • salt to taste

How to Make Quick Semolina Adai

  • Mix together all the ingredients from semolina to salt.
  • Add enough water to form a thick batter.
  • Heat oil in a small fry pan, season with mustar and curry leaves.
  • Add thuis to the batter.
  • Heat a griddle and spread a ladleful of batter on it to ¼ cm thick round.
  • Pour some oil all round and cook on mode heat till the underside is brown.
  • Turn over the adai , pour some more oil and cook the other side.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
