How to Make Quick South Chicken Gravy

  • Grind the ginger-garlic, cinnamon-cloves-half the onions, and half of the mint-coriander mixture.
  • All these should be ground separately.
  • First pour 2 tsps of oil in a pan and cook the chicken with a small cup of water and salt until just done. Remove it.
  • Then pour the required amount of oil in a pan for the gravy. Allow the oil to heat.
  • Then, fry the cinnamon/clove paste first.
  • Then, add ginger-garlic paste.
  • Then, add the remaining onions and fry till it is mixed up with the paste.
  • Then, add the chopped tomatoes and mix it well with the other paste.
  • Keep mixing it till the tomato is properly cooked with the paste.
  • Now, add a little salt as required and also the turmeric-chilli-pepper powders and mix it well till the raw smell disappears.
  • Now, finally add the chicken to it and mix it well.
  • Now, add a cup of water to the gravy and allow it to thicken.
  • Finally, add the remaining coriander leaves before you take it off the fire.
