Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Kabuli Channa
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 5 - Red Chilli
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal
  • 1 sprig - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 3 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 cup - coconut, grated
  • 1 piece - Raw Mango medium size, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Quick Sundal:

    1. Pressure cook the channa.
    2. Dry roast coriander seeds, red chillies, channa dal and coarsely grind it.
    3. Heat oil in a tawa, add mustard seeds and one red chilli.
    4. When mustard splutters, add boiled chole channa (after draining the excess water) and curry leaves.
    5. Add chopped raw mango.
    6. Add turmeric powder, salt and cook on medium flame till the water drains.
    7. Add the powdered masala, coconut and mix evenly.
    8. Sundal is ready to eat.
