Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Kabuli channa
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander seeds
  • 5 - red chilli
  • 1 tsp - channa dal
  • 1 sprig - curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 3 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 cup - coconut, grated
  • 1 piece - raw mango medium size, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Quick Sundal

  • Pressure cook the channa.
  • Dry roast coriander seeds, red chillies, channa dal and coarsely grind it.
  • Heat oil in a tawa, add mustard seeds and one red chilli.
  • When mustard splutters, add boiled chole channa (after draining the excess water) and curry leaves.
  • Add chopped raw mango.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and cook on medium flame till the water drains.
  • Add the powdered masala, coconut and mix evenly.
  • Sundal is ready to eat.
