How to Make Quick Sweet Puri

  • Sift the flours into a bowl, mix with ghee and sugar.
  • Beat it well till the sugar melts.
  • Add the eggs one by one, continuously beating till light.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and make a smooth dough.
  • Cover and keep aside for 4-5 hours.
  • Dust a rolling board with plain flour.
  • Roll out the dough to approx 1/4-inch thickness.
  • Cut into small rounds with a round mould or cookie cutter.
  • Gather up the remaining dough, roll out again and cut out more rounds.
  • Heat oil and deep fry the rounds till golden brown
  • Cool and store in an airtight container.
