Ingredients

  • 3 - long medium size radish
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 - onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 8 - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup - grated Coconut (optional)
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Radish Foogath:

    1. Scrape and cut the radish into small pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard, garlic and curry leaves.
    3. When the mustard starts spluttering, add the chopped onion and green chillies and fry till the onions turn slightly brown.
    4. Add the radish and salt and mix well.
    5. Mix in the grated coconut.
    6. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes till the radish is cooked.
