Ingredients

  • 4 cups - radish greens (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - toor dhal (cooked)
  • 1.5 tsp - sambar powder or adjust to your taste
  • 1/2 cup - onion (chopped)
  • 1 - tomato (chopped)
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - urad dhal
  • 1/2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 cup - coconut (grated)

How to Make Radish Greens Kootu

  • In a pan add oil. Heat it and then add mustard and urad dhal.
  • Now, add chopped onion and tomato. Fry well.
  • Add chopped greens. Fry well.
  • Add water and cook with salt and sambar powder.
  • When greens become tender, add the cooked dhal. Mix well.
  • Allow it to cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add the ground coconut.
  • Serve with rice/chapatti.
