Ingredients

  • 4 cups - radish greens (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - toor dhal (cooked)
  • 1.5 tsp - sambar powder or adjust to your taste
  • 1/2 cup - Onion (chopped)
  • 1 - Tomato (chopped)
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - urad dhal
  • 1/2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 cup - Coconut (grated)
  • How to Make Radish Greens Kootu:

    1. In a pan add oil. Heat it and then add mustard and urad dhal.
    2. Now, add chopped onion and tomato. Fry well.
    3. Add chopped greens. Fry well.
    4. Add water and cook with salt and sambar powder.
    5. When greens become tender, add the cooked dhal. Mix well.
    6. Allow it to cook for another 5 minutes.
    7. Add the ground coconut.
    8. Serve with rice/chapatti.
