Ingredients

  • 2 - radishes
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal (soaked for 1 hour)
  • 2-3 - Green chillies (roasted in a little oil)
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera
  • 2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • A sprig - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup - grated Coconut
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Radish Majjige Huli:

    1. Wash and scrape radishes and slice into slightly thick rounds.
    2. Cook it along with the curry leaves and salt.
    3. Grind coconut, jeera and roasted green chillies into a fine paste.
    4. Then, add the soaked channa dal and grind it coarsely.
    5. Add it to the cooked radish and bring it to a boil.
    6. Season with mustard seeds, curry leaves and one red chilli.
    7. Just before serving, add the beaten curd.
    8. Serve it with hot rice and sambar.
