  • 2 - radishes
  • 1 tsp - channa dal (soaked for 1 hour)
  • 2-3 - green chillies (roasted in a little oil)
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera
  • 2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • A sprig - curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 1 cup - curd
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Radish Majjige Huli

  • Wash and scrape radishes and slice into slightly thick rounds.
  • Cook it along with the curry leaves and salt.
  • Grind coconut, jeera and roasted green chillies into a fine paste.
  • Then, add the soaked channa dal and grind it coarsely.
  • Add it to the cooked radish and bring it to a boil.
  • Season with mustard seeds, curry leaves and one red chilli.
  • Just before serving, add the beaten curd.
  • Serve it with hot rice and sambar.
