Ingredients

  • 3 - eggs
  • 1.5 cups - ragi flour
  • 3 tbsp - maida
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 120 g - butter
  • 1.5 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 tsp - lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch - salt

How to Make Ragi Cake

  • Sieve ragi flour, maida and baking powder.
  • Separate egg yolks and white, beat the egg whites till stiff.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together butter and sugar.
  • Add egg yolks, salt, lime juice and essence.
  • To the above mixture, add flour and egg whites alternatively and mix using a hand mixer.
  • Pour it into a greased pan and bake at 180 degrees for 40 mins.
