Ingredients

  • 3 - eggs
  • 1.5 cups - Ragi flour
  • 3 tbsp - Maida
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 120 g - Butter
  • 1.5 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch - salt
  • How to Make Ragi Cake:

    1. Sieve ragi flour, maida and baking powder.
    2. Separate egg yolks and white, beat the egg whites till stiff.
    3. In a mixing bowl, mix together butter and sugar.
    4. Add egg yolks, salt, lime juice and essence.
    5. To the above mixture, add flour and egg whites alternatively and mix using a hand mixer.
    6. Pour it into a greased pan and bake at 180 degrees for 40 mins.
