Ingredients

  • 4-5 - Ragi idlis
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1 - tomato, finely chopped
  • 3-4 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tsp - urad dal/skinned split black gram
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2-3 tsp - oil
  • 2 sprigs - Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Ragi Idli Upma - Finger Millet Savoury Cake Upma

  • Add oil in a pan and heat it.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and let them splutter.
  • Add onion, green chillies, curry leaves and saute well.
  • Add tomato, salt and mix well.
  • Add coriander powder and saute.
  • Dice ragi idlis into small pieces and add to the masala in the pan.
  • Mix well for a few minutes and serve hot.
