How to Make

  • Strain the tinned red kidney beans and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil and fry bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick.
  • Add chopped onion pieces, chopped tomato pieces and cook until the onion turns translucent and tomatoes turns mushy.
  • Immediately add the red kidney beans along with red chilli powder, garam masala powder, jeera powder, pepper powder , curry leaves and salt and simmer till the oil separates.
  • Now add the cooked basmati rice to this, toss gently until everything get mixed well.
  • Serve hot.
