  • 500 g - split peas
  • 500 to 700 g - sugar
  • 3 tbsp - mustard oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Rasabara

  • Soak the peas for 4 to 6 hours. Drain.
  • Grind it along with some salt in a mixie.
  • Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the peas paste.
  • Cook until it turns brown.
  • Meanwhile, make sugar syrup of 1-string consistency.
  • Mix it with the fried peas paste.
  • Let it cool for half hour and then serve.
