Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - Urad Dal (black gram split)
  • 4 tbsp - Chana dal
  • 4 tbsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tsp - asafetida
  • 1.5 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tbsp - black pepper
  • 5 to 6 dry red chilies
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander seeds
  • 8 to 10 Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Rasam Masala:

    1. Saute all the ingredients in a kadai with the oil till red and gives out an aroma.
    2. Cool completely.
    3. Grind all this to a fine powder.
