  • 2 large Sweet Potatoes
  • ?cup - Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 3 cardamoms, powdered
  • How to Make Ratalya Cha Shira (Sweet Potatoes in Sugar):

    1. Scrub the sweet potatoes well. Grate them with their skin on.
    2. Heat ghee in a skillet and saute the grated sweet potato in it. When well sauteed, reduce the heat and let it cook.
    3. After 10-15 minutes and occasionally stirring, the potatoes should be done. Mix in the sugar and cardamom.
    4. Serve hot as a sweet. With whipped cream this easily becomes a western desert.
