Ingredients

  • 1 cup - semolina (rava)
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, small and finely chopped
  • 1 - ginger, grated
  • 1 - tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - yogurt
  • Cilantro (as required)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Rava Adai

  • Fry the rava till slightly brown.
  • Mix the rava, onions, chillies, ginger, cilantro, salt and tomato.
  • To this mixture, add the yogurt and set it aside for 15-20 mins.
  • Add just enough water to be able to spread on the tava or non-stick pan like dosas.
  • Can be served with coconut chutney or cilantro chutney.
