  • Rava 1 cup (Sooji, fine or coarse)
  • Boiled Potato - 1, big size
  • Onion - 1, medium
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Ginger
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • How to Make Rava Aloo Vada:

    1. Boil the potato and mash it thoroughly.
    2. Finely chop the onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and ginger.
    3. Add these along with the salt and rava to the boiled potato.
    4. Mix and knead these ingredients to make a thick dough (resembles chapatti dough in consistency).
    5. Divide and make medium-sized lemon balls.
    6. Now, heat the oil in a kadai.
    7. When the oil is hot, flatten these dough balls on your palm and deep fry.
    8. You can fry 4 or 5 at a time.
    9. Enjoy it with any chutney of your liking.
