  • Sooji - 1 to 1.5 cups
  • Chopped Onion - 1
  • Green chillies - 2 to 3, chopped finely
  • Chopped Ginger or Ginger paste
  • Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped coriander - a small bunch
  • Curd - 1/4 cup
  • Oil - for baking
  • Water
  • Salt
  • How to Make Rava Thalipeeth:

    1. Mix the first 8 ingredients together, adding the required amount of salt .
    2. Add curd to the above mixture.
    3. Add water to this mixture to form a soft dough.
    4. Heat a little oil on a pan. Keep on medium heat. Place a small round of the dough on the pan.
    5. Dip your hands in water and flatten the dough to form a round disc - like a pancake.
    6. Keep some water in a cup to dip your hands, so that the dough does not stick to your hands.
    7. Drizzle some oil around, like for a dosa .
    8. Cook the other side too till golden brown.
    9. Serve with ketchup or achar.
