Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Rice flour, sieved
  • 1 cup - roasted rava, fine
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tsp - sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Deep Frying

How to Make Rava Uppu Seedai

  • Mix rice flour, roasted semolina, salt and butter in a bowl.
  • Mix well with fingers until they turns crumble like texture.
  • To this add the sesame seeds, cumin seeds and mix well.
  • Now slowly sprinkle water and turn it to a soft and stiff dough.
  • Keep it aside for half an hour.
  • Roll out tiny balls from the dough and arrange them over a paper towel and keep it aside for half an hour.
  • Deep Fried the balls until they turns golden brown.
