Ingredients

  • 1 - raw banana, cubed
  • 1 cup - long yard beans, chopped as medium sized pieces
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 cup - Coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - black gram
  • Few Curry leaves
  • Coconut oil
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Raw Banana and Long Beans Stir fry:

    1. Cook raw banana pieces and beans separately with enough water and turmeric powder.
    2. When partially cooked, drain the excess water and keep them aside.
    3. Grind coconut, cumin seeds and green chillies as coarse paste, keep it aside.
    4. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds, saute curry leaves, onion and cook until the onions turns translucent.
    5. To this add the partially cooked vegetables and the ground coarse paste.
    6. Cook for few minutes.
    7. Serve hot.
