Ingredients

  • 2 - raw bananas, pressure cooked and smashed
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1/4 cup - Oats
  • 1 tsp - ginger, chopped finely
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds and black gram
  • 1/2 tsp - Chickpea
  • 1 - dry Red Chillies
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Raw Banana and Oats Podimas:

    1. Heat enough oil and splutter mustard seeds, black gram, chickpea and fry dry red chillies.
    2. To this saute onions, green chillies and ginger, until the onions turns translucent.
    3. Add the turmeric powder, smashed raw banana pieces, salt and curry leaves.
    4. Sprinkle some water and simmer for few minutes.
    5. Finally add oats and cook everything till the vegetables are cooked.
    6. Serve hot.
