  • 2 - Raw bananas
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp - split black gram
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal
  • Pinch of - Asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves - a few sprigs
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to Make Raw Banana Bhaji:

    1. Boil raw bananas in a pressure cooker and cut into small cubes.
    2. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal and asafoetida.
    3. When it splutters, add cooked banana cubes and 1/2 cup water.
    4. Then add turmeric powder and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
    5. Add salt and cook till it becomes dry. Serve hot.
