  • 4 - raw banana peels, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - black gram
  • Few curry leaves
  • To grind:
  • 2 tbsp - grated coconut
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 4 - garlic cloves

How to Make Raw Banana Peels Stir fry-Kaya Tholi Thoran

  • Grind all the ingredients under the list 'to grind' as fine paste and keep it aside.
  • Cook the chopped raw banana peels in water with turmeric powder and salt and drain excess water.
  • Splutter mustard seeds, black gram and curry leaves in oil.
  • Now add the cooked raw banana peels, ground paste and cook until the raw bananas get well coated with ground paste.
