How to Make

  • Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and add mustard seeds.
  • Add chopped onion and green chillies.
  • Add all spices, salt, raw banana and gooseberry, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add yoghurt and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Optionally, you may add tomatoes.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with curry leaves.
  • Serve with dosa, idli, chapati or rice and dal.
