How to Make Raw plantain Curry

  • Peel the plantain and cut into small cubes.
  • In a pressure cooker, add the plantain, 1/2 cup of water, salt and turmeric and cook for 3 whistles.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add the seasoning along with urad dal, mustard and jeera.
  • Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Now add cooked plantain along with water.
  • Let it simmer on the stove for 2 mins until the water evaporates.
  • Add the ground powder and some tamarind pulp. After a minute switch off the stove.
