  • 10 - raw Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp each - cumin seeds, Fenugreek and asafoetida, powdered
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp - red chilly powder
  • large quantity - sesame oil
  • salt

How to Make Raw tomato pickle

  • Chop tomatoes fine. Mix with turmeric, salt and red chilly powder.
  • In sesame oil, fry mustard and then add finely chopped tomatoes and let it boil, without adding water.
  • After boiling, add the powdered ingredients and stop the fire immediately.
  • It's delicious with rice. Add a little bit of sugar or jaggery to serve with chapatti.
