  • 400 g semolina (rava)
  • 500 g mava (khoya)
  • 500 g brown sugar
  • 200 g desiccated coconut
  • 1 tsp powdered cardamoms
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts
  • Desiccated coconut for rolling
  • A few drops of red food colour

How to Make Rawa and Mawa Laddoos

  • Combine the semolina and khoya in a pressure cooker and pressure cook till you hear 2 whistles.
  • While still warm, rub the mixture using your palms so that no lumps remain.
  • When completely cold, add the sugar, coconut and nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into small laddoos and roll them in coconut.
  • Apply the dot of red colour.
  • Serve.
