  • 1 cup - rawa (sooji)
  • 1/2 cup - all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 - ripe banana (optional)
  • 2 - cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp - cooking soda
  • Oil to deep fry

How to Make Rawa Paniyaram with eggs

  • Beat egg till it is fluffy.
  • Now add sugar, rawa, flour, soda, powdered cardamom and mix well.
  • Mash the banana and add to the mix.
  • The mix should be thick like vada mix, if it is so thick you can add very little water.
  • Leave the mix to set for at least 20 minutes.
  • Now heat the oil in frying pan and drop small balls of mix with a spoon.
  • Fry till it turns golden brown and drain in a paper towel.
