Ingredients

  • 1 - small red pepper
  • 1 - small yellow pepper
  • 1 - medium pink onion
  • 1 - small ripe tomato
  • 2 - fresh red chillies
  • 2 - flakes garlic, peeled
  • 1 - small piece of ginger, peeled
  • 8 to 10 - peanuts
  • 1 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp - any vinegar
  • 1 tsp - mustard paste
  • 1 tsp - brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp - olive oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Red and Yellow Pepper Dip

  • Chop peppers, onion and tomato roughly.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and stir fry for a minute.
  • Add peppers, tomato, ginger, garlic and chilli.
  • Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or till wilted.
  • Take off fire and allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer to a grinding jar.
  • Add all other ingredients.
  • Grind to a rough paste, not too smooth.
  • Refrigerate till required.
  • Serve with vegetable crudites, nacho chips, crackers, over canapes, etc.
