Ingredients

  • 1 - red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - roasted peanuts
  • Tamarind piece, blueberry size
  • 3 - dry red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds + black gram
  • 5 strands - curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to Make Red Bell pepper N Peanut Chutney

  • Heat oil and add the dry red chillies, fry until they turns brown.
  • Add onions, tamarind piece, red bell pepper pieces and saute until onions and red bell pepper are cooked.
  • Keep this aside and allow it to cool.
  • Mix the cooked onion-bell pepper mixture, roasted peanuts, salt and grind as thick, bit coarse paste.
  • In a pan splutter mustard seeds, black gram and curry leaves.
  • Add this tempering to the red bell pepper and peanut mixture.
