How to Make red bell pepper Usili

  • Cut the red bell pepper into small pieces. Keep it aside.
  • Soak channa dal for about 10 minutes.
  • Grind the channa dal with red chillies and salt (do not grind it to a fine paste).
  • In a pan, add oil and add mustard seeds and urad dal. When the mustard pops, add the ground channa. Stir for 5 min.
  • Then add the red bell pepper. Stir well until it is cooked well.
  • Finally add salt.
