Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera
  • 4 - dry Red Chilli (more or less as per your taste)
  • 2 - big red peppers
  • 1 - medium size Onion
  • 2 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp - Tamarind paste
  • 1/2 cup - roasted Peanuts (skin removed)
  • Salt - to taste
  • How to Make Red Pepper Chutney:

    1. Put oil in a kadai and add jeera, after it has crackled add dry chillies, garlic and finely chopped onions.
    2. After it turns pinkish brown, add finely minced red pepper.
    3. Cook it properly.
    4. Add tamarind paste and salt to taste.
    5. Grind the cooked mixture with roasted peanuts.
    6. Serve it with hot dosa or idli.
