  • 5 gms. Cinnamon
  • 5gms. Bay Leaf
  • 5 gms. Mace
  • 1litre Mutton stock
  • 30 gms. coriander seeds, crushed
  • 50 gms. onion, roughly chopped
  • 10 gms. ginger, chopped
  • 15 gms. garlic, chopped
  • 5 gms. green chilli, chopped
  • 50 gms. tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 gms. green cardamoms, crushed
  • 100 gms. Mutton mince
  • 1 Egg white
  • 20 ml. desi Ghee
  • 1 sprig green coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Rehana`s Yakhni Shorba:

    1. In a pan, heat ghee; add whole spices, ginger, onion and garlic at once. Saute for 2 mins.
    2. Add remaining ingredients except egg white, mince and green coriander. Reduce the flame and cook on slow fire for about 40 mins. Strain and simmer again.
    3. Mix mince with egg white and a little salt.
    4. Make small balls of mince and drop them in simmering soup.
    5. Cook for another 10 mins. and garnish with fresh coriander sprigs.
