Ingredients

  • Red Onions - 250 g
  • Red Malt - 100 ml
  • Vinegar - 100 ml
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp

How to Make Restaurant style Red Onion Pickle

  • Peel onions. Make a cross cut on them, leaving the bottom part of the onion intact.
  • If you have smaller onions, you could use them as one piece after peeling.
  • Put them in a dry sterilized bottle, pour malt, vinegar and salt.
  • Close tightly, stir and leave for 12 hours.
  • Drain vinegar, leaving a little at the bottom only.
  • It is ready to use.
