Ingredients

  • 1 - Carrot
  • 1 - Cucumber
  • 1 - green capsicum, finely sliced
  • 1 - red onion, thinly sliced
  • 5 to 6 - Lettuce leaves
  • 1 - tomato, finely sliced circles
  • For dressing:
  • 1/2 cup - Honey
  • 2 tbsp - white Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • To taste - salt
  • 1 tsp - crushed black pepper
  • How to Make Ribbon Salad:

    1. Using a vegetable peeler, slice carrots and cucumber lengthwise into very thin strips.
    2. In a bowl, mix all ingredients for dressing and keep aside.
    3. In a large bowl combine all vegetables.
    4. Pour dressing over vegetables, toss and let it chill in refrigerator.
