Ingredients

  • To make the powder for the drink:
  • Parboiled Rice- 1 kg
  • Barley-100 g
  • Badam-100 g
  • To make the drink:
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • Sugar to taste.
  • How to Make Rice and Barley Health Drink:

    1. Wash and dry the rice on a clean cloth.
    2. Once done, fry rice, barley and badam in a pan until a fine aroma emanates from the pan.
    3. Powder this into a fine mixture.
    4. To make the drink:
    5. Take 4 tsp of the powder, 1/2 glass water, 1/2 glass milk.
    6. Mix it together and boil it on a low flame till it thickens.
    7. Add sugar to taste and serve.
