Ingredients

  • To make the powder for the drink:
  • Parboiled Rice- 1 kg
  • Barley-100 g
  • Badam-100 g
  • To make the drink:
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • Sugar to taste.

How to Make Rice and Barley Health Drink

  • Wash and dry the rice on a clean cloth.
  • Once done, fry rice, barley and badam in a pan until a fine aroma emanates from the pan.
  • Powder this into a fine mixture.
  • To make the drink:
  • Take 4 tsp of the powder, 1/2 glass water, 1/2 glass milk.
  • Mix it together and boil it on a low flame till it thickens.
  • Add sugar to taste and serve.
