Ingredients

  • Soaked Rice - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • 5 - Elaichi
  • Cashews, for garnishing
  • 2 tsp - Ghee

How to Make Rice Coconut Souffle

  • Grind rice and grated coconut to a smooth paste by adding 2 cups of water and strain the 'milk'.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan add coconut rice 'milk' and sugar stir continuously till a soft lump is formed.
  • Lastly add ghee and elaichi powder.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased tray.
  • Cut into slices on cooling decorate with a kaju on each slice.
