Ingredients

  • 200 g - Rice flakes
  • 6-7 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 - big onion, finely chopped
  • 3-4 tsp - putnalla powder
  • Oil as required
  • How to Make Rice Flakes Upma:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal, onions, turmeric powder and then ginger garlic paste.
    2. Fry till onions are golden brown.
    3. Meanwhile, soak the rice flakes in water for a little while.
    4. Squeeze out the water and add to the pan.
    5. Add salt and putnalla powder to it. Mix well. Cook for about 3 minutes and remove from heat.
    6. Garnish with coriander and serve with pickle.
